The 25th Annual San Juan Island Lavender Festival is the place to be Saturday and Sunday, July 18 - 19! At Alchemy Art Farm on San Juan Island, the fields will be open for strolling, relaxing, and gorgeous photo ops. Learn about our non‑profit community art center, and get creative with our instructors and Artists‑in‑Residence. Shop our handcrafted lavender products and artwork from over 50 local artists in the new Art Barn Store.
The Cutting Field will be open for visitors to take home plants for their own gardens or harvest bouquets from many varieties in bloom. The Craft Tent offers all‑day hands‑on activities for adults and children. Wandering circus performers, free activities like face painting and participation in our collaborative community eel grass mural project round out the family fun!
Local food vendors will serve a variety of options including Lopez Island Creamery ice cream. Alchemy will offer adult libations alongside the music stage as a fundraiser for community arts programming. Massage therapists will offer relaxing mini‑sessions, local artists and craftspeople will display and sell work throughout the fields.
Admission is free; the festival is open both days from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with evening music and Saturday night cocktails, beer and wine until 8 p.m. Lavender fun continues at the farm through the festival weekend and all summer - don’t forget your camera! Leashed dogs are welcome.
