Alchemy Art Farm Capital Campaign
Help us build the Alchemy Art Farm, a new creative campus on San Juan Island
A New Chapter for Alchemy
Just a quarter mile from our current campus, the former Pelindaba Lavender Farm will become Alchemy Art Farm. A vibrant, multi-use arts campus that brings artists and community together where art is made, shared, and celebrated.
For seven years, Alchemy Art Center has grown from a volunteer-run dream into a thriving nonprofit serving islanders year-round. Now, we’re ready to create a permanent home for creativity that will serve San Juan Island for generations.
The Vision
Our centerpiece, the Art Barn, is a 14,000-square-foot building overlooking lavender fields and orchards. It will house:
Shared studios for ceramics, textiles, printmaking, and glass
Up to 20 artist studios and residency spaces
A central gallery and performance venue
A community kitchen and herbal apothecary
The property also includes a Farm Store soon to be a cozy café and shop featuring local art, lavender products, and seasonal events.
Join Us
This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to invest in the island’s creative future.
Every contribution brings us closer to opening the doors of the Alchemy Art Farm to islanders of all ages and backgrounds, and to artists from all over the world!
