Welcome to our new facility, the Alchemy Art Farm!
Former Artist-in-Residence Dustin Low created this video visualization of our plans for the Art Barn! We are building so many new and necessary uses into this space:
Community Art Studio: A shared production and teaching space with professional printing press, silkscreen, sewing machines and other equipment, five private artist studios, and access for members and classes.
Studio 2: A studio space offering four private work areas and community glass lampworking facilities for local and visiting artists. Artists rotate annually to ensure access to a broad community of artists.
Production Room: The behind-the-scenes engine producing Alchemy’s most beloved lavender products for sale in our store.
Recording Studio: A professional facility supporting local musicians and artists-in-residence.
Studio Lofts: Six quiet, private studios supporting focused creative practice for painters and independent artists.
Accessible Arts Program: A purpose-built studio and program advancing inclusive arts access for people with disabilities and their caregivers. Research for the pilot program is underway, and we are receiving applicants.
Store & Cooperative Gallery: A year-round retail space supporting earned income through local art, creative experiences, and Alchemy’s signature lavender products.
New Preschool Arts and Outdoor Play Program: A stable, welcoming, and sliding scale accessible opportunity for children to be part of Alchemy through daily outdoor education and arts engagement.
An Artist Residency Program for Established Artists: A beautiful artist residency in a historic home at the Art Farm. We will welcome three artists at a time for five week stays, to work on art and contribute to our community.
Immersive Arts Space: A flexible, high-impact venue for performances, exhibitions, classes, and immersive creative experiences open to the public.
Community Kitchen & Apothecary: A hub for food programming, classes, event preparation, and plant-based creative production.
