Clarinet Marmalade - the homecoming of Jonathan Greene
Clarinetist Jonathan Greene, a San Juan Island native, has established himself as an international presence on the early jazz scene.
For the last three years he has split his time between New York, New Orleans, Paris and Berlin. For tonight's show, Jonathan has teamed up with two other top-flight early jazz reed players, Eric Vanderbilt-Mathews and Jonathan Doyle who also share inspiration from the iconic clarinet sounds of the trad jazz and swing era. This same band is coming off a headlining performance at Django Fest NW.
Eric Vanderbilt-Mathews - clarinet, saxophone and piano, Jonathan Greene - clarinet and saxophone, Jonathan Doyle - clarinet and bass saxophone, Luca Pino - guitar
